About Us

Lonn Manufacturing’s long-standing legacy of innovation, quality craftsmanship, and reliability began when brothers Victor Lonn and Major Arthur Lonn, a WWI Infantry veteran, founded the company in downtown Indianapolis. Drawing inspiration from their Swedish immigrant father, the brothers built upon a rich heritage rooted in J. Lonn & Sons—a bicycle manufacturing company that evolved into Great Western Manufacturing Company, one of the largest bicycle producers in the United States.

In 1940, Victor and Arthur left the family business to launch their own manufacturing venture in Indianapolis, specializing in high-quality hose nozzles. Though Lonn Manufacturing has changed locations over the years, its commitment to superior craftsmanship and product reliability has never wavered. Many of our longest-tenured employees still apply time-honored techniques from the 1970s, blending them seamlessly with modern innovations to produce exceptional tools.

Today, Lonn Manufacturing proudly continues the Lonn brothers’ tradition of quality and innovation, backed by 80+ years of manufacturing experience.
